Carl Jara, from Lyndhurst, Ohio, won First Prize in the Solo Division.  Carl was sponsored by Gulf Shores.

This sculpture also won the "Coveted Befress Award"  in the Master's Solo Division.  (Meaning that this sculptor raised the most money for SandFest)

John Gowdy, who flew to SandFest  from Italy, was sponsored Port Royal Ocean Resort.
