Duo
team, Thomas Koet,
originally from the Netherlands and Jill Smith from Florida, were sponsored by Pletz
Construction, in San Antonio, Texas.
Their sculpture
sculpture "Turning Over a
New Leaf" won
first place in the Duo Division.
This sculpture also won the "Coveted Befress
Award" in the Master's Duo Division. (Meaning that these sculptors raised the most money for
SandFest.)

This DUO team is Amazin' Walter McDonald and William Lloyd of South Padre Island,
Texas, won third place in the Duo Division.
They were sponsored by the Beachgate CondoSuites and Resort, one of our

Amazin' Walter is well known
for his "Amazin'" castles and arches.
