WOW!!!   SandFest had 26 Master Sculptors competing in 2009.   It has become the largest Master Sand Sculpting Competition in the US!!!!  SandFest is spread over three days, with a solo and a duo master's contest and one day with over 200 amateur sculptors.  We attract over 100,000 people.  

We would like to recognize our Super Out of Town Volunteers for 2009.  Without all their help starting the week before until everything was put back in storage, we could not have done this.  Our hats are off to:

We are midway between Sandcastle Dr. & Access Rd 1A.  SandFest Central is located near Mile Marker 11.

When you are enjoying yourself and scratching your head in amazement of the gorgeous works of art, and you start wondering  how all this fun is available FREE to the public, the answer is  Sponsors.  Yes, we got 'em and we love 'em.  It takes a lot of money to fly the masters in, put them up, feed them... advertising... prizes... and all the things it takes to put on an event like this.  Most of the "work" (sweat) has been done by volunteers.  The volunteers are truly our guardian angels.   We need more help.  Contact us and we will use you somewhere, some how.  But the bucks come from area corporate sponsors.  They are listed on our Sponsor's page and at the event.  Thank them and please keep them in mind when you need whatever they have or sell.  Buy from our sponsors!  Be sure to tell them how much you appreciated the event.

Vendors will be selling, food, drink, and various items.   Since you will be able to grab something to eat, right there on the beach, make it an all day outing.  Besides, you will be having too much fun to leave.
